In the crowd Nameless faces surround her, soulless bodies try and hurt her, she stands alone, in the crowd, silently crying, and no one around. Look in a mirror, she'd be the only one there, noticed by everyone, but they don't seem to care. We hate her they hiss, but they don't understand, each word they say, drives her insane. She stands in the crowd, trying to figure out what to do, just to please me or you. Break out the world, and live like this girl, for the one who is remembered most, is the one who has no name, but a face.

A caged dove, quiet at times, Silent and mourning. It's wings clipped, wanting to be free, of what constrains it. A caged dove, sitting, watching the people. It whispers, oh so quietly, wanting help soundlessly. The eyes will tell you the story, of a caged dove, living in someone's heart. When the chains are gone, and the tears have been shed, a caged dove shall be no more.

I sit by the phone, anticipating your call. I don't care that it is long overdue. I picture your face, as I make conversations up in my mind. The phone rings and I quickly answer it, as usual, it's not you. I hide my disappointment, and hang up the phone. I stare at it, waiting for it to ring. I want to hear your voice, your laughter. I'm single, going to Simmons College in the fall. I'll be majoring in history and psychology, but I have no idea what I want to do. I'm 18, no longer Jail Bait, but still much younger then most of my friends. Speaking of friends, it seems as if I am slowly losing them all. I mean, it is inevitable graduating and moving and losing someone. But what bothers me are the ones who are sticking around, as I am not sure if my own apathy is to blame. I'm not very happy, but I haven't been so since I was diagnosed with depression in the 4h grade. It's been a while..

I didn't forget about Deviant.. just avoided it. Not because it offended me or anything, but I decided to put my focus on life. Lately however, that focus has been shattering. I can't focus, and I don't like it when there is no goal to be reached. I am a senior finally, and senioritis is kicking in. I have been accepted into nearly every college I applied to (waiting on 2 more), and then I have to decide. With a major in psychology and creative writing, I could go nearly anywhere. To be honest, I am not that picky. However, it is really up to my finace.. and I don't think he realizes how much of an impact it has on us. I trust and believe

So... I guess I have mono. Lovely. I got all my work for the next week and half.. and I wont be able to return to school till after christmas break. At least. It sucks.. we were skinning the cats in Anatomy next week. And then after break is the actual dissection. On the plus side... my sleeping has increased since i am taking this time to relax and reflect. I won't add anything to here till after chrismtas most likely, unless something from my poetry class stikes me as I work on the final project. I'm going ot be rereading some books.. and eventually go shopping for the holidays.
